How is the original artwork made?
I paint using acrylic paints and A5 sized chunky cardboard to create the original artwork. Each piece is unique and original, inspired by dark folklore and scary stories read and told. You can watch behind the scenes on my TikTok.
About prints
What is giclée?
Giclée a digital printing process in which an ink-jet printer is used to produce a high-quality art print. What sets giclée prints apart from regular inkjet prints is their superior colour accuracy and detail.
What paper is used?
Prints are made using thick 310gsm Hahnemühle German etching paper, featuring velvet mat finish and textured surface. This paper is certified vegan & sourced from sustainable forests.
How are the prints made?
After creating each new art piece, I scan and edit the artwork for accuracy. Each is printed and shipped on demand, using plastic-free packaging and water-based inks.
How to care for giclée print?
Giclée has extra long life, scientific researches estimate it be over 100 years when handled with care. I recommend to avoid displaying your print in strong, direct sunlight as all prints can fade over time. My artwork is very dark and saturated, so please handle your print with care when unpacking as fingerprints can show on the darkest parts of the artwork. If you'd like to handle you artwork regularly, you can choose to add white borders to your prints - just contact me prior to placing an order.
